The Paxton Compact P38 is a standalone 125 kHz proximity reader that manages up to 100 tokens without a separate controller. It provides a request-to-exit (RTE) input and a lock output rated 750mA at 12V, and is IP67-rated for outdoor use. Powered from 10 to 14VDC at up to 120mA, it suits single-door installations that do not need a networked system.
